The Hardraade Viking Ship Association is constructing a full-scale Viking ship that will sail on Tyrifjorden. The ship is being built in a traditional manner, using authentic materials to the extent practical, just as it was done during the Viking era.

The construction is taking place at Sundvollstranda, approximately 300 meters from the hotel. The address is Åsaveien 38.
