Sundvolden is widely known for tasty homemade food. We also love supporting our local community. Most of the produce we use comes from local farms and fish from nearby fjords. Our head chef takes pride in finding tastes from nature around the hotel in addition to our own herb garden.

This event is a market outside of the hotel. There are activities for both young and old! There will be local sheep in need of haircuts, a bouncy castle, and lots of good food and fun!
Sundvolden Hotel brings together all its local suppliers, as well as special guests in the yard on this Saturday in September. There will be opportunities to taste, smell, and buy home-made goodies. For the kids there will be animals they can greet and more activities on the yard.
Our head Chef wanted our very own unique and tasteful cheese. Hence the day Sundvolden Cheese was born. It is a savory and mild cheese laced with wild garlic. Last year, it won the gold medal of cheeses in its class.
