Visit Hadeland Glassworks Museum

Hadeland Glassworks was established on land taken from Mo farm in Jevnaker, right at the southern end of Randsfjorden. The glassworks was founded in 1762, but production did not begin until 1765. There were not enough Norwegian glassworkers at the time, so the company depended on bringing in foreign guest workers. Most of these were recruited from Germany.
