Hardraade Viking Ship Association

Hardraade Viking Ship Association is building a full-scale Viking ship that will sail on Lake Tyrifjorden. The ship is being constructed in a traditional manner, using authentic materials as it was done in the Viking Age, as far as practical.

The building is located at Sundvollstranda, about 300 meters from the hotel. The address is Åsaveien 38.
  • Hardraade welcomes organized groups, hotel guests, and conference participants for tours. Visits can also include catering and activities such as blacksmithing, timber cutting, and planing of hull parts. Catering can be authentic Viking food or modern cuisine.
