Below you can read about the different ways you can travel to and from Sundvolden Hotel.
We encourage as many people as possible to choose environmentally friendly options and recommend carpooling or public transportation.

From Oslo by bus
Take route 200 from Oslo Bus Terminal. The bus journey takes 45 - 60 minutes.

Take the airport express train to Lysaker, then transfer to bus (route 200) onward to Sundvolden. The journey takes 1 hour and 15 minutes.

A pleasant short drive - over Sollihøgda or down from the valley. Right between two fjords you'll find us.
- From central Oslo, follow the E18 toward Drammen to Sandvika. Take the exit toward Hønefoss and then follow the E16 to Sundvollen. The drive takes approximately 35–40 minutes.
- From Gardermoen, take the exit toward Nannestad and then toward Hønefoss. In Jevnaker, follow the signs toward Norderhov. You will then reach the E16 – follow the signs toward Oslo. After approximately 10 km, take the exit to Sundvollen. The hotel is straight ahead after the Esso station. The journey takes about one hour.

From Drammen, take the E18 towards Oslo, exit toward Lier. Follow RV 285 towards Hønefoss. Continue following the signs for E16 towards Hønefoss. Exit at Sundvollen. Driving time approx. 40 minutes.
