We have set ourselves the following goals for the environmental work at the hotel:
- The hotel industry's best working environment (Winner fo the Norwegian working environment Award 2008)
- Sundvolden Hotel must be Co2 neutral by 2015, we achieved this, and we have our own pellet central as the main heating source for the hotel.
- We are proud of our Swan certification, which we have had since 2011
- Reduce the use of water and energy by means of good management and control
- Sort waste (80% sorting rate) as reduce the total amount of waste, especially plastic and food waste
- Contribute financially and in other ways to good projects in relation to children and young people.
